Ovington have a junior section which gives youngsters of all ages and abilities the chance to play Cricket. We run teams from Under 9 to Under 18 level, and we have have club members as young as five taking part in training.
Junior training starts indoors in the early part of the year – more details of that will be posted when we know more. We then move outdoors, training on Thursdays (for those able to play for the Under 9’s or Under 11’s) and Friday’s for those eligible for the Under 13’s or Under 15’s. More details of that, will again, be posted in due course.
Older junior players over the age of 13 may also be given the opportunity of playing senior cricket , with a large proportion of the club’s players coming through the junior ranks. Ovington have a proud tradition of nurturing young talent with the transition between junior and open-age cricket.
For more information about training sessions, which will restart for the 2015 season in February, alongside any other questions you may have, contact the club via the “Get Involved” page.
