Ovington sealed a comfortable win over visitors Westow, on a balmy evening down at Little Knavesmire. Fine bowling by Ovington pace men Dom Kitching (5-0-2-14) and Alistair Souch (4-1-1-14), restricted Westow to just 21 runs off their first 8 overs, for the loss of 3 wickets. Westow’s Nathan Pratt provided some much needed momentum, hitting a quick-fire 37 (3x6s, 2x4s) before being bowled by Charlie Buckley (4-0-2-18).
