Happy New Year to everyone, from all at Ovington Cricket Club.
Annual Junior Subs for the 2016 season will be fixed at the A.G.M. which is yet to be held. We will send out further information once they have been decided.
Ovington Indoor training/nets will be at Millthorpe School Sports Hall as they were last year. The cost stays at £2.50 per session as in 2015 but if you would like to pay for all 10 on the first week, the cost will be reduced to £20.00.
The dates of Indoor Nets are Sunday 17th, 24th, 31st January; 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th February; 6th, 13th and 20th March.
- Running from 4pm to 5pm for Under 9’s & 11’s soft ball,
- Running from 5pm to 6pm for Under 11’s hard ball and Under 13’s.
- Running from 6pm to 7pm for Under 15’s and seniors.
If your child is moving up from Under 9’s to Under 11’s and does not know whether to come to the soft-ball or hard-ball sessions, they will be able to attend both sessions at no extra cost.
For those that did not collect their medals at the presentation night, these will be available at indoor nets for collection.
If your child is not going to participate next season could you please let us know, as we have to enter teams by the end of January.
The Y.J.C.A. are holding a scorers course at York Cricket Club on the 12th of March, so if anyone would like to go on the the course please get in touch and we can send the appropriate details.
Weather permitting, our first outdoor training will take place in April. We will set an exact date closer to the time
