A little later than intended, the Presentation Evening will be on Saturday 22nd November, at the South Bank Social Club (Ovington Terrace), and will start at 7:30pm. The presentation for the Under 9’s will be made first, followed by each age-group.
The format will be similar to past years. They will be a Family Quiz, four video horse races, Raffle (prizes gratefully received) and an auction, with hopefully some great lots with the proceeds going towards the planned pavilion extension. If you have anything of value that you would be willing to donate, for example, a Bike in good order that has been grown out of or know of a company that would be willing to provide a lot for auction, then it would be gratefully received. It would be useful if we could have advanced warning of what the lots would be before the night.
The Club has successfully been re-accredited the Clubmark. Many thanks to Liam Herringshaw and Graham Cole for all their hard work in achieving this.
We should have a decision on the pavilion extension by the 22nd November. Anyone wishing to see the plans, they will be on view at the Presentation night.
